Create Fresh Content

First, what counts as a unique or “Fresh” Pin and why are Fresh Pins important? Fresh Pins are images or videos which have never appeared on Pinterest.

Pinterest prioritizes fresh content for distribution as users respond most strongly to fresh content. After all, Pinterest’s algorithm favors content that’s relevant and timely.

Creating more fresh Pins means more exposure for you to your followers, in users’ home feeds, and in search results. In turn, this helps to maximize your reach and traffic potential on Pinterest.

For a Pin to be considered fresh, create several images that link to the same blog post, page, or product listing. Each would be fresh when saved to Pinterest for the first time.  For example, Fresh Pins can come from creating new images for links you’ve previously shared to Pinterest.

Share Less than 10 Pins to Multiple Boards

You can share the same Pin to multiple Boards. Simply choose the most relevant ones and avoid more than 10.

High-volume Pinning can put your account at risk, but you can still Pin more than 50 times per day with Tailwind if needed.

Pin Around 15-25 Pins Per Day

According to Tailwind app, the most successful members Pin around 15-25 Pins per day. So 15-20 Pins daily is a good range to aim towards.

Reevaluate Group Boards

Group boards are still a good way to increase your reach on Pinterest. Especially if you are just starting out or recently re-branded, your pins can be seen by a whole new audience.

So take the time to reevaluate your group boards. This includes assessing the board owner’s followers and collaborators. Is it time to join new groups?
