Quarantine has been tough for many of us. Whether or not you're still employed, single, homeschooling or somewhere in between, Covid-19 has impacted us all in one way or another.
For the past few months, I felt like I was hitting a wall in my personal life, business and with my family. It was one challenge after another. I had a number of meltdowns moving to a new apartment in the midst of quarantine was also a nightmare.
I desperately wanted to reinvent myself.
I was ready to start over. Time for new beginnings. But how? Nothing I did seemed to get me further in my personal or professional life. I was stuck and couldn't seem to catch a break.
Gradually, I started to gain clarity by taking the smallest of small steps. I looked around at what was not working and went from there...
Taking tiny baby steps.
If I felt like crying, I allowed myself to weep. If I felt like taking a mid-morning nap, I slept without setting an alarm. If I felt like eating chips for dinner, I did just that.

The Universe I tell ya. It's always talking to us if we are open to listening.
After a lot of introspection, I figured there's a reason why I'm here. In this new city, in my current circumstances, and with the current set of challenges. We are all here to learn. I'm learning to pick myself up.
In an attempt to take better care of my mental and physical health, every small step built up my confidence. Every step added more momentum. When the time comes for me to take on the next set of challenges and tougher issues, I'll be ready.
By shifting the energy ever so slightly with every step forward, I started seeing more opportunities in my business and personal life too. I gained clarity in my new calling and had a new sense of purpose. Ready to reinvent yourself?
